Though we know some people take Pepcid or something similar, those products only mask your symptoms and do nothing about the underlying cause of the flush. The problem is that many of us cannot properly metabolize alcohol's byproduct, acetaldehyde. This leads to a buildup of the toxic compound and yes, the infamous redness! We identified some pretty awesome antioxidants, glutathione and NAC, that have been shown to help detoxify acetaldehyde. We paired those with other natural ingredients that can help support healthy liver enzyme activity to create a healthy solution, not something that just covers up the redness.
We know some people will continue to take Pepcid, but we also know there’s plenty of people looking for a real, healthy alternative that's specifically created for helping us enjoy our drinks.
Through all of our hard work developing the best possible solution, we've found two things to be true: 1) we're all unique and respond to ingredients differently, and 2) there's no miracle cure.
That being said, we're incredibly proud that 80% of customers report that Redee Patch helps them have a more enjoyable drinking experience.
We're even more proud to offer 100% satisfaction with a full money-back guarantee if you're not happy with your results.
We genuinely hope that we can be the solution that helps you finally enjoy your drinks, and we hope you were still glad to give us a try even if not.
We suggest applying two patches at least 30 minutes before drinking to the mid-back or a relatively dry, hairless area of your upper body, though some see best results applying 1-2 hours before. For best results, drink plenty of water and have a meal before drinking.
Our patches' vitamins and antioxidants will deliver for up to twelve hours and may even be able to help you bounce back the morning after if you want to leave them on overnight. To remove, simply peel off away from your body and discard.
Give Redee a shot, risk-free. If you’re not happy, just send an email to hello@redeepatch.com for a quick and easy FULL REFUND (less shipping). The catch? All we ask is that you fill out a quick survey to help us improve the product.
You have nothing to lose and a whole lot to gain (like finally enjoying your drink)! So, what do you say?
To understand why alcohol makes you flush red, you need a quick crash course in how your body metabolizes alcohol.
First, one enzyme, alcohol dehydrogenase, turns the alcohol into a toxic carcinogen, acetaldehyde. Acetaldehyde is extremely harmful to the body, but is usually turned into a harmless compound, acetic acid by the ALDH2 enzyme.
The problem is that around 40-50% of Asians (and those of other ethnicities) have variations in one or both of these enzymes, leading to a dangerous buildup of acetaldehyde in your body. This leads to histamine release in your body and vasodilation in the face, neck, and chest.
So to sum it up: deficiencies in the enzymes you need to properly process alcohol and its metabolites lead to a buildup of a toxic carcinogen in your body, causing the flushing effect we’ve come to know and hate.
We care deeply about the health and safety of our community (which is a big reason we created Redee). We made sure to base the formulation on vitamins, antioxidants, amino acids, and some pretty awesome plants found in nature. You can drink easy knowing Redee is safe and manufactured in the great U.S. state of Ohio.
