What’s in Redee Patch?

An overview of how our product works

1. The main goal of our product is to detoxify the toxin that causes the flush, acetaldehyde Redee uses antioxidants that have been proven to detoxify this nasty culprit. These include glutathione and NAC, which both seek out acetaldehyde and bind to it to get it out of your system.

2. Next, Redee supports healthy liver enzyme activity by supplementing your body with vital nutrients; these include milk thistle extract, B-vitamins (B1, B5, B6, and B9), and Alpha-Lipoic Acid.

3. As a last line of defense, Redee includes holy basil extract, a natural antihistamine. You can think of this as nature’s flush-free support.

Each ingredient, in-depth

Important term to know:

Acetaldehyde - the main toxin from alcohol that causes Alcohol Flush. It’s been found to be up to 30x as toxic as alcohol itself.

Glutathione

Glutathione is an antioxidant that is naturally made in the body and binds with the main toxin, acetaldehyde, to turn it into harmless acetate (basically vinegar).

This substance is found in the liver and has multiple benefits such as reducing oxidative stress. In addition, the liver has stores of this glutathione that may run out when larger amounts of alcohol enter the system. This leaves acetaldehyde unprocessed and is part of the reason why we get hangovers when we drink.

NAC

NAC, or N-acetylcysteine, is a dietary supplement that supports the liver and boosts the production of the antioxidant glutathione.

It is the supplement form of cysteine, an amino acid that is important in producing glutathione.

L-theanine

L-theanine is an amino acid found commonly in tea leaves that have been found to protect your liver by decreasing hepatotoxicity, toxicity in the liver.

Some other common sources of L-theanine include green tea, black tea, and certain types of mushrooms.

In addition, L-theanine has been found to have other benefits such as stress-relief and bolstering the immune system.

Vitamin C and B Complex

Vitamin C, also known as Ascorbic Acid, is a powerful antioxidant - protecting against immune system deficiencies and cardiovascular disease.

B vitamins play an important role in supporting not only your liver but also energy levels, brain health, and cell health.

These two vitamins, Vitamin C and B, have been found to reduce the impact of alcohol on the liver. These two do this by blocking the free radicals that come along with drinking alcohol.

Alpha-lipoic acid

Alpha-lipoic acid is an antioxidant commonly found in spinach, broccoli, and potatoes. This substance is used to prevent cell damage from drinking and restore proper levels of vitamin C and vitamin E.

Holy Basil extract

Holy Basil is a plant different from the regular basil used for flavoring foods. Instead, it is native to India and has a host of nutrients such as Vitamins A and C, calcium, and iron.

The plant is anti-inflammatory and is used to support your stomach by decreasing stomach acid and increasing the effectiveness of mucus cells.

Milk Thistle Extract

Milk Thistle is an herb native to Mediterranean countries. Silymarin is the main active ingredient in milk thistle and is both an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant.

It has been thought to reduce damage to the liver caused by free radicals from drinking alcohol. In addition, it has been suggested to improve both skin and bone health.

Cosmoperine®

Cosmoperine® is a substance derived from black pepper that enhances the bioavailability of the other ingredients. It helps improve the deliverability of our ingredients, ensuring that everything in our patch makes it to your body!
